Foxwood Farm is a full service hunter/jumper facility offering training to both horse and rider.
Foxwood Farm is located near the historic village of Rockton, IL. The farm was founded in 1860 by Squire William Halley, a successful Rockton entrepreneur, and remained in his family for over a century, until the early 1980’s. It was reportedly the largest farm in northern Illinois when established.
Acquired by Roger and Kay Schramm in 1984, it became an equine farm and was renamed in recognition of the wildlife which proliferated the wooded property, particularly the red fox. The original home built by Sq. Halley in 1860 remains the main residence on the farm today.
In 2016 the addition of an all-new facility was completed, with a twenty-stall main barn, indoor arena, two outdoor arenas, separate vet/farrier barn, and on-site living quarters for staff.
Foxwood Farm is a full service Hunter/Jumper equestrian facility that specializes in training, showing and sales of award winning Hunter/Jumper horses.
